About Us

The Cranleigh Angling Society was established in 1927 in Cranleigh in the county of Surrey.

Cranleigh is situated midway between the towns of Guildford, Godalming and Horsham and is reputed to be the largest village in England.   It is a vibrant village of local shops & businesses.

Our fishing venues are in Cranleigh and neighbouring villages and offer fishing in relaxed surroundings for Carp and various other species including Tench, Bream, Roach, Perch, Rudd and Crucian Carp.

We have a Committee of members who hold positions for running the Society and are all avid anglers who love to help others learn and enjoy their fishing hobby.

We have an annual general meeting every year for all members who wish to come to vote for their candidates for the Committee and have their say at the meeting on any concerns they may wish to raise.
